Director’s Biography
Beril Tan (2000, Turkey) is a director and visual storyteller. She graduated from the Cinema and Television undergraduate program at Istanbul Bilgi University. Throughout her education, she focused on visual culture, actor direction, and film grammar. She worked as an assistant director on numerous TV series, films, and commercial sets. Her first short film, A Different Mourning, supported by the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was successfully completed and featured in the selections of several film festivals.
